CUT was formed to use the pollution of today to build the materials of tomorrow by converting CO2 gas into solid products. CUT sells advanced solid products derived from greenhouse emissions and cheaply available solids. Through its portfolio of CO2-derived solid nanoparticles, CUT has technically validated its solutions for use in the plastics, coatings, epoxy, adhesives, concrete, lithium-ion battery, pharmaceutical industries, and more.

Carbon Upcycling Technologies is seeking a high energy individual with effective research skills to fill a research and development associate role. The candidate must be proactive, highly adaptable and thrive in challenging, dynamic, fast-paced environments. Science background preferred. The position is entry-level and candidates with 3 years or less of work experience should apply.

Specific tasks:

  • Conduct technical literature reviews on various technology segments 

  • Refer to patent databases and analyze important technical claims

  • Analyze found data and able to report conclusions effectively to management

  • Create flowcharts for product development and testing, and to systematically track the progress of various R&D projects

  • Create and maintain relationships with technical and sales experts at established companies to get market-relevant information on various commercial technologies

  • Coordinate and develop communication with various research institutes to stay informed of leading-edge developments in various technology areas

  • Establish and maintain contacts with funding organizations (private and government-affiliated) and create project plans to develop specific technologies in the CUT portfolio
